Boise Housing Market Trends

Boise remains somewhat competitive as compared to other real estate markets. There is historically a decrease in listings for sale during January due to holidays, weather, and general interest. It is forecasted to pick up as we head closer to Spring.

Looking back to December 2023 and gathering statistics in our current market, 28% of Boise homebuyers searched to move out of Boise, while 72% looked to remain within the area. People continue to move into Boise from Seattle, WA, Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA, San Deigo, CA, Portland, OR, Denver, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, and other cities. 

Boise remains in multiple lists as a Top 10 ranking for Transit-friendly, Bikeable, and Walkable. No one can argue with that!
